Understanding The Affordable Care Act Using Just the FactsThe Affordable Care Act - ObambaCare

The enrollment for the Affordable Care Act begins on October 1, 2013 but there’s a lot of confusion and misinformation about it. The Henry J. Kaiser Family Foundation has put out a short video in which cute little cartoon characters help clear it up.  This video is not politically motivated – it’s just facts.

It answers such questions as:

  • How will I find the right coverage for me and my family?
  •  I’m insured through Medicare. What changes will affect me?
  • What about people on Medicaid? Will they still be covered if their state chose not to participate in ACA?
  • What are the advantages of the Affordable Care Act? Disadvantages?
  • Who will benefit the most? The least?
  • Who will get tax credits under this program?
  • How does/doesn’t the new law guarantee fairness?
  • How will young adults 18 – 30 benefit?
  • Why would young adults enroll in the Affordable Care Act?
  • What about small businesses? Will it hurt or help them?
  • What is the Health Insurance Marketplace and what does it mean to me.
  •  What if I can’t afford the premiums?
